I haven't seen to many people have good luck with those filters but I just measured that K&N and the its to small.

Have you tried turning the sub around so it faces the back thus sending sound waves back to you?
Thats what some people on jbody.org told me, so I did it in my Cavalier and it was crazy. I also had a R12. Your setup looks good, little bump never hurt no one
