OK, so a little help from my brother and the turbo is mounted to the motor. I am starting from scratch on the hot side again since I was a little off on my measurements the first time. I will also be making a set of solid motor mounts, since I think the stockers will let stuff move around to much. Here are some pic.s of the turbo location. It look's so little in these pics. maybe I should have gone bugger.lol. I see all the guys on ls1 tech with the 88's and 91's and they are frickin huge! I just hope my little peewee 70mm will do the trick.

I am looking for a p/s pump that will fit on the drivers side head. I don't think there is enough room for pulley clearance. I just ordered a cts-v alternator for the lower drivers side of the block. So I will be pulling the motor this weekend and waiting for some parts to show up. When I get the motor back out, I will be drilling and tigging the drain for the turbo in to the oil pan. I will be also drilling and tapping the accessory boss that is missing from the block, for the CTS-V alt. bracket.
Any help on the p/s pump would be great.
dont know if anyone has recommended yet ( havent made it thru the whole thread, look at a 4cyl s-10 steering box, manual gear reduction steering box. alot of the gm's use the same bolt holes, i know for a fact that S-10 steering box witll directly bolt up to a G-body and it gets rid of the power steering. not 100% pos. for a 3rd gen though but it'd be worth researching.

Thanks for the info. but the steering has been handled. I made my own relocation kit. This is going to be a street car/auto cross/HPDE car. I gotta have power steering. Ok, I'll admit it I'm spoiled.

for a street car, the manual steering box works fine. but i dont know if your gonna be auto cross racing? they steer pretty easy since the manual box uses gear reduction to make the steering lighter. if it was just a driver/drag car id say do it. its lighter, frees up hp and makes for a cleaner engine comp. but i think id have to agree for road course stuff i think id want P/S as well.
                it was just a thought.

Just an update for you guys. I got the new KYB AGX adjustable struts and shocks on tonight. Pretty easy job, not to painfull. I will be heading up to Never Enough tomorrow to get some more tubing for the new hotside that I will be working on this weekend. I have had to put the car on hold for like the last few weeks since my work schedule has been crazy with diesel events. I thought about taking this weekend to go down to the races at mid ohio. But I think I would like to get my car a little farther along if its an option.

Update! The hot side is coming along well! since it has been Africa hot out side, and its actually cooler in the shop I have been making some pretty good headway on the hot side. I have the down tubes from the headers made, now I am in the process of making the new merge into the flange, once I have this done I can plum in the waste gate. Hopefully have this done by the weekend. then it's on to the exhaust. Not sure what muffler I will be running yet, But I think I might go with a spin-tech.
We're getting closer, there is only so much I can get done on my own here.
This guy here in the pic below named Lincoln has been getting quite the workout lately. And all these little guys you see on the table will be welded together to for the bends I need. Cutting this stuff up is time consuming in it self let alone the fitting, and welding.

Ha! You like that huh. Man is it ever gonna cool off? Well, I worked on the tubing all afternoon and evening and I got one side done to the turbo. Now I just have to make a bend for the drivers side header to the turbo, then on to the waste gate. I will post some pic.s tomorrow of my progress. I would really like to get this thing running by the 1st of next month, so I will be busting my ass to get it done. Once the plumbing is done, then its on to wiring. Oh boy am I looking forward to that. I am just hoping everything went together correctly. I always second guess myself. Like "did I need that shim under the hydraulics, or not?" That kind of shit ya know.

Oh, and I think a 1001 piece puzzle would be easier. If I had hair I would have pulled it out by now. All of it.
