    Its not poor engineering. That car just needed motor mounts more than likely.

      LS1 is a new design that not only fits great, but will eliminate the whole system being slip fittings. Has flanges from the headers to the Y and a nicer merge in the Y as well!
      Subscribing. I hope they are using a pacesetter style.

        X2. If I could get a set of Pacesetter knock-offs in stainless that weren't ridiculously expensive I'd be all over it.

          Its the one area where pacesetters can, and seem likely to have a fitament issue. But I agree with mike on the motor mounts. Mine was tapping on shifts/clutch dumps so I disconnected the exhaust and used a floor jack to clearance the floorboard just a tad (the pans are made with extremely soft metal).
