LOL, if I had the money I wouldn't be waiting almost a year to do the work.. I actually bought these heads to help a friend out, I'm in no hurry to put them on.. My car has been in pieces for most of the last year, so don't even feel like tearing it apart this winter.. I have enough stuff to do to it already this winter, without a H/C swap..

Wow...I don't know a lot about this subject but IMO that cam (242/248 .715 .720 104+2) IS a little out there; wouldn't imagine it's very streetable. One of the biggest bangs for the buck seems to be the cam. I went with a (small) 228/232 .588/.574 112 LSA cam, modified 243 heads and with a few other extras I hit 425 at the rears on a Mustang Dyno [naturally aspirated]. I ported and polished the stock TB but I still feel as though I'm somewhat restricted on the intake side. I had intentions of doing an upgrade consisting of a FAST 102 intake, PTM 95 TB (or PTM 92) and a Lingenfelter 100 MAF. BUT!, the exterior maintenance of the house took front stage. Oh well, maybe next year.

I am pretty sure Larry is yanking my chain.. I have an MTI racing 78MM TB on mine. I will spend the next year acquiring parts and having head work done.. That being said, what would be a realistic cam for my car? 3200 stall, have no intentions of upgrading stall...

                          233/239?

The cam Larry mentioned is stupid big on the lift. You'd have to cut over a tenth of an inch out of your pistons to clear it good enough.

                          Used to own a Firebird.

I have SLP's, but they are pretty worn out from scraping pavement when I had the drag springs up front.. Not sure what I want to get..
