O.k. I PMed Carl, the guy that makes the LPP headers and this is what we had to say:

Not quite sure what the problem is.
We sold 75 sets of the ones you have and only a few people had any problems at all.
Most of those only involved grinding just a little here or there.
Not to try and say anything bad about the car but if it was ever wrecked at one time that could be a problem.
This is the problem with older cars you never know what has happened to them in the past .
I can say you are the first one out of 75 to have this bad of a problem so I'm really not sure why. All the headers were made in the same jig.

    Thanks, Car

Mike, was it ever wrecked that you know of?

Id love to trade ya but i think you should just sending them back and get something else.

My pacesetters have some good scratches on them, and they arent worth half what a set of LPPs are.

PS - And this even applies to my own dad - let's be careful with offering carfaxes. This is against CarFax's TOS and can get your CarFax account closed. I've had it happen to one member on here already - he was offering CarFaxes for people - CarFax found the thread and termed his account.
