There are 3 bolts on each side of K frame 2 are in a thicker section and the rear is in a lower section. I believe the part in your pic is the rear section, but its hard to tell from picture.

We can do it this weekend.

You might wanna call and tell Kyle that since I believe that he is currently cutting into your Kmember, lol. At least, thats what it sounded like from his last post.

            O.k. new problem!!!!

            100_1852.JPG

That pipe is resting against the frame of the car
There are 2 screws holding the header in right now but it has to come out again.
I have quite the clearance hole in the K-member right now but I'm still hitting it and I don't want to take more out
I have the motor lowered down a bit but the mount hole isn't even lined up yet and I know it will fall at least a 1/4 inch yet so that's not good either.

Mike is out of town right now so I'm at a stand still

            Mike you said:
I'm up for trying new motor mounts if it would help.
I don't even know if that will do anything for this.

The guy that made the LPP's said that he made the primary's come out further for better plug & bolt clearance but I think that is where he went wrong.

B, any luck test fitting yours yet??

Sorry man but it's not going to happen.
The motor is being supported by the jack right now.

This just isn't going to happen, I'm sorry.

Will be doing the test fit tomorrow - but with my engine out of the car I won't have nearly as much stuff in the way as Mike's.

That may not be a good thing but at least you will know if your K-Member is o.k.

I helped derek install his. His DID hit the K-member but it was a very unecessary metal lip that was easy to buzz off. I would not call it "hacking the car up" at all... thats just being rediculous.

If you have to do more than a little grinding, somethings wrong IMO. Derek's headers fit great, better than my pacesetters. I would swap mine out for LPPs in a heartbeat after doing his... but after seeing this thread it seems they have some issues making a consistent product.

Where his LSX or LTX ?

From what I have read the LS guys don't really have issues it's the LT guys that have them if they do.
                          And by joe we do

                          I posted on LS1TECH also.
Need to get to the bottom of this fast!

                            LTX.

Seriously, his fit great. I had a much harder time fitting my pacesetters. After i buzzed that little edge off they slid right in.

Well we have an actual hole to where you can see the a-arm and I still would have to take more off, about a 1/2 inch just so it will have clearance.

I'm starting to worry about the structure here
I think I'm going to have to have a piece welded in??

wow. I only took off maybe a half inch (probably 2" wide) and the seam was still integrit when i was done.

Are you sure you arent overlooking something? Is the engine tilted at all?
