Is this actually making any noticeable difference? seems like tons of people do this including lots of drag racers with much longer than factory wires with no adverse effects.

not sure. but it gives me peace of mind. I know the coils can get finicky though, not as sure how important the wire length is

nothing just cost more and not really any noticeable change from using them or not, their coils are junk though DEF not worth the money.

Me too...that's why I was asking. I know years ago when I ran them on my SBC the plug boots didn't last very long, but I know they fixed that.

Larry, just sell me yours. Or someone want to sell me a set of coils so I can run some of the other setups?

If you're DDing your car, I probably wouldn't recommend my set-up. After tweaking the brackets for optimum packaging, I'm going to turn the brackets over to a guy that will fabricate the permanent set.

the main issue with msd are the tension of there clips. Suck to put on , then due to the tension the ends get pulled off when removing. This isnt as much of an issue on race cars or other sbc, bbc stuff but due to the nature of f-bodys they suck to get to and pull on

Alright, so im quite confused now.

Everything I read says I have truck coils, would make sense considering the 2 sets of coils I have are off of 5.3's. But the 12558693 part number listed as "truck coil" by both CBM, Nasty, etc. Shows a SQUARE coil. Mine are ROUND, and have a heatsink on top.

Does anyone have a list of the different coils used?
