Question: Voltages to the Throttle Position Sensor? Not trying to be a smart ass Larry but, did you get the TPS installed correctly? Reason for asking is, I installed a TPS wrong. It gave the computer fits. The computer received signal voltage stating the throttle blades where full throttle at all times. This caused a pig-rich run condition. Once warm, the ole monster 305 would NOT start. Needless to say, I was taking cool down breaks quite often before I grabbed a BFH and really broke something.

Just throwing this out there Bro.

I had the same problem recently, turned out my TB gasket was ripped at the bottom by one of the bolt holes..New gasket and all is well..might be worth a shot..also I was getting the same code, pointing towards the MAF..

    Love the new avatar tho!

I was always taught as a rule of thumb to replace the gaskets if you have them off for some reason or not... Your a pro at taking that intake off now, get to work! If you were closer I would have love to lend a hand.

Could be a big fail on my part...

clean it and then let us know... I hate to say it, but I wouldnt be surprised if you end up having to replace the MAF

P101 explanation at the bottom of the table. If the computer is not seeing the MAF, then it will normally run extremely rich. You are on the right track by looking at the MAF. Did you check that fuse yet? should be in the engine bay fuse box

you still use the MAF correct? let me pull up a stock tune and see what the MAF fail rate is at voltage-wise

I would check that fuse asap especially if you had a code.

did you change to a colder plug? Put a colder plug in a snowmobile this winter and it would even start

EDIT: just becasue it didnt show back up on the engine light doesnt mean the code wasnt still there. Is the MAF plugged in? If you get a MAF low frequency code (like you have), the computer willl no longer use the MAF to control engine function, it reverts to speed density.

Having the low frequency code over the high frequency code tells me that the PCM is not seeing the MAF AT ALL. Because that means it has no voltage reading from it. This is the same code you get if you were to unplug the MAF (100% sure of this)

Is there any correlation to the plugs being fouled out in the same cylinder that had previously bad flowing injectors and now you have the good flowing injectors on it?
