Thanks Eric.....I think I am going to avoid the bling for awhile. While having all that stuff polished looks nice, it's a lot of work to keep up when you drive the car alot......and that's what I am going to be doing....driving the snot out of it..... Can you say PowerTour!

Two become one......can I have a moment of silence.....thankyou. Just making sure the trans will fit into the clutch before seperating them again for the install.

Check out my 6061 billet aluminum torque arm mount. I made this a few years ago when I did the first T56 swap into my car. I CNC'ed this at work one day....shhhh

Motor going back in for the final time!

caugh*woman*caugh, JK i've done a few T56 R&R's by myself on my back in my garage with the car only about a foot and some change in the air...trick is slide the trans under the car, lift the back of the trans up and slide a floor jack under the trans....get the jack at that "magic" balance spot...then use your leg to pump the jack up...and wiggle to your hearts content until it goes home.... worked the same way when i R&R'd a T56 on my buddy's C4 TCC (racecar)...we did it twice in 2 days!

yeah...I've done it too...and it's just plain stupid to do it that way. I had the trans roll off the floor jack while doing it that way, thank god my fingers were out of the way! Maybe I'm just getting older and wise now, no sense taking that kind of risk.
