Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Spent the better part of 3 hours screwing around with the LS1 pedal assembly....still not done yet Did I ever say how much I HATE screwing with the pedals?!
Anyways, not much else to report. I found a really good website for techincal LS1 stuff for you guys that are interested or may not know about it. Lots of good info here...it's nice they listed all the torque specs for fasnteners
Check these little babies out! These are a couple adaptors that I got from Summit today
The Russell fitting (640850) will let me hook up my -6 braided fuel line to the quick disconnect fuel rail fitting on the LS1. The other fitting is a metric to pipe tap adaptor made by Autometer (2268 ) This will let me remove the stock oil pressure sender (for gauge) on the back of the motor and replace it with a sender that will work with my gauge. It adapts from M16x1.5 to 1/8" NPT and even comes with a new crush ring.
Thought I would post these up in case anyone out there might need these in the future for a swap they might be doing.
I am also going to drill and tap out the stock cover on the oil ports right above the oil filter to accept an oil temp guage. The only thing left as far fittings go will be to figure out what I am going to do with a water temp sender.
That is going to be a brand new car when your done. Look's perfect. I'm going to miss the polished intake from your last motor. Got any ideas to bling that thing out once she's in? I've seen some really nice polished LS1 setups with the aluminum weiland intake manifold. Performance wise I'm sure it doesn't help to much but adding that baby with other polished goodies sure stands out.
