Hell Im having more fun putting parts on (engine, susp, brakes,etc...) and driving it for now. When I start adding things that will require a tune then I will look into a dyno pull. Im excited to see what the SS will do but Im not that concerned about it. I know I can beat up on almost any rice burner. You know how to drive YOUR car and make it perform as well as it can. Id say just keep adding things and then see where it all lands you

youre running 12's with your bolt-ons?! i ran 13.9 when i got my car last year, with a ported intake and hot air intake. although that was bad opti, iffy on the clutch, tires spinning, 2.73 gears, stock exhaust with blown out cat and a couple extra problems. this year ill have 4.11's, cleaner opti, longtube headers, glasspack mufflers, AC delete, A.I.R delete, my own custom cai, and maybe a short throw shifter and/or drag radials.

A 13.9 isn't too bad. Especially with a bad opti....
When I ran that 12 it was with radials 3:73s and I hooked up
Really really well.

If anything youll pick up top end power. If you are lacking low end power with a stock engine something isnt right. I could light the tires off idle when my engine was stock.

I can smoke the tires off my car from a dead stop no problem. But it just feels
Like I'm lacking the power in the lower end that I have uptop.

Maybe I'm nuts idk. But it feels like I can't leave 100ft of rubber

But found out the headers I'm getting are dynatech longtubes that
Turn out to the sides.

So I'm thinking about making the collector into a cutout and adding
On to the side of it to run the true duals alittle more straight.
Or I might just change the collectors out to straight ones

For low end, just curious have you run fuel cleaner through the injectors ? cleaned the throttle body ? what are your plugs gapped at and what plugs ? do you still have cats ?

yes, clean your tb! i took mine off and cleaned it for a good half hour, scrubbing every inch of it with a toothbrush. ran noticingly better after. also check your plugs/wires for sure. have you ever replaced you opti?

edit: check your maf, tps, iac, etc. and o2's aswell
