  • need a full bolt ons list and gains estimate

Ok so I need a list of FULL bolt ons.

And what kind of gain you had with full bolt ons vs stock.

I'm thinking I have full bolt ons but I'm not sure if I'm missing
A minor bolt on or two.

I know I want to delete A/C and put a pully on it.
My A/C works but never use it.

And the throttle body bypass mod

But I have headers, slp lid, ram air, exhaust system,
Gears, stall, TB, fan switch, msd coil, ported intake.
    Egr delete. Built trans.

Need to know if I'm missing anything

Probably not much, .2 maybe with the removal of everything. Best bet is gear.

Throttle by pass will get you 1 or 2 hp when its up to operating temp. The downside is if you drive it in the cold it can cause driveability issues and will cause build up of carbon in the throttle plate.

How about underdrive pulley ? SSRA air intake ?

I have a k&n high flow filter and I cut the lower air lid to allow air from
The bottom in and from the ss hood.

What I meant by gains is Horsepower gains for each bolt on
And if I have full bolt ons.

If I remember correct... anything that touches the engines oil
          Is NOT a bolt on??

Don't forget to tune it. You can throw on every part imaginable, but if it's not tuned correctly, you're not getting what you should out of it. And start looking into suspension and rigidity items. All the HP in the world means nothing if you can't transfer it to the pavement, safely.

Hard to agree when Joel's cam only is putting down ~373 or 376? Somewhere in there.

The other problem that guys get confused on is sometimes you cant add the hp rating of each part, some items work with another one and If you go by what mustang guys add up the numbers are really off, they add the highest HP rated number of each bolt on and thats how they end up coming up with a few bolt ons giving you 120 hp. Not trying to rain on your parade. Tuning after all of the bolt ons would be your best bet

i'm guessing Joel has all the supporting mods including the majority of the boltons one would normally do before or while in a cam swap. I also believe he'd have to have head work done and a bump in compression to achieve those numbers. I'm not sure on his setup. Maybe Joel can chime in.

A cam swap can easily add 70hp when using good parts. Seeing as he added a point of compression while the heads were off I think its pretty safe to say he was in the 290-310RWHP range with just bolt ons.
