I can't drink that stuff. . .Originally posted by Fox Slaughter View PostLuckily I drink PBR so the rear end hasn't affected my beer budget.
I'll probably be running either 4.10's or Motive 3.90's with a girdle in my stock 10 bolt in the future, I really don't think I'll be making enough power, or driving it hard enough, to really worry about breaking anything.Nick H.

I've been on 4.10s for 20 years with a 6spd. with a 10 bolt,9" and S60, all in the same car. IDK how you use your car, but I drive the piss out of mine. It was a DD for 3 years with 4.10s, I wouldn't go back if I had too!
All you guys that holla 9". I picked up 21 RWHP going from a 9" to a S60.

A bolt-in S60, brand new, from Summit, costs more than I paid for my car. hahaOriginally posted by NuckinFutz93 View PostI've been on 4.10s for 20 years with a 6spd. with a 10 bolt,9" and S60, all in the same car. I've had 3 LT1 F-Bodies (1 4L60, 2 T56's), and haven't had any rear end issues with any of them. I just don't drive hard enough or make enough power for the fear of 10-bolt failure to be on the radar. If I had the money, I'd be all over an S60, but until then, I'll have to just suffer through driving it with the stock rear. hahaOriginally posted by NuckinFutz93 View PostAfter you build and destroy a few 10 bolts, You'll see it is a good investment.Nick H.
