Everyone that likes poly trans mounts I have a question. Are you using an Energy Suspension polyurethane mount, or a Prothane mount? Someone on ls1tech posted that the Energy Suspension ones are known for bad vibrations while Prothane are okay.

Most people with autos experience the vibrations, I do, quite terribly I might add. And it seems negligible, or not noticeable in the stick cars.

I replaced the mount on my LT1 auto for a poly and honestly felt no difference. When I installed it I did not use the metal plate. Just ordered a poly for my LS1 auto and will see how that goes.

you guys are pussies.. i have solid motor mounts and a poly trans... the vibrations are there but look what kind of car your in.. i aint a cadillac.. deal with it

My car is all poly mounted, and While it only gets a few miles here and there....the change sits still in the cup holder! My old spec 3 clutch rattled more shit apart than solid motor mounts do these days!

My car did not like a poly trans mount either....I just waited a couple days because I noticed once everything was hot the vibration went away....now that the poly mount is broken in there is no issue. They suck really.bad at 1st tho

I just have them bolted in, but most people weld them in addition to bolting them in. If I decide to sell them I will let you know.

I'm using another brand entirely, but that's because I have a Cobalt.

From what some people have told me, my car has way more vibrations than their car with poly.

Do you have poly motor mounts as well? This is specifically for poly engine mount/poly trans mount guys. I had rubber/poly on my last car and it wasn't nearly as bad. Although I will say that people have cracked their bellhousing with a rubber/ poly setup. Engine twists and trans doesn't = something is getting broken.

I thought u said trans mounts only . I have poly trans rubber motor but when I add nitrous I will be changeing to poly motor as well .

I have a prothane on my M6 and I don't have any vibrations until I hit about 140....lol. By that time I think that it is probably more the driveshaft than anything else.
