No, it wasn't waterborne, solvent based.

Looks great!, When we bought our Z28, it had stainless badges/grille...Grille quickly became plasi dipped, and the badges swapped out. Didnt amuse me either...Couldn't be happier now.

I am not sold on the Stainless badging....I might have to go back to black, or maybe black chrome....

Again, will have to look at it again in the light to be sure.

Sounds like for $2900 and a trip to the great white north yours could be taken care of too!

Car really looks great! The black chrome badges could be really cool on there. Any changes other than the badging coming (wheels, etc)?

Wheels are brand new, so they are staying, but I do have Eibach Sportlines to go on. Just waiting on the panhard bar to come in, which should be tomorrow, so the lowering springs should be on Saturday.

I shoved it outside this morning between bouts of freezing drizzle/slush/snow/rain....

It doesn't really show the pearl/metallic in the overcast, but you can sure see the shine.

Did some cleanup on the wheels/tires and interior last night. She was FILTHY inside....dust gets everywhere...

Now to get on with the performance mods...

Looks great! Yeah, I agree with you too - the stainless badges just don't work. Maybe if the rims were chrome or something. I just don't think they tie in with the blacked out scheme.

sure does suck you have to run with dual plates...sure does take away from the styling of most cars
