Mine picks up an additional 2-3 mph moving from 100 to 150. My noids probably don't flow as well as yours. Put some good gas in it and go for 200

              • How do you like the faceplated T56? I know we talked about the 80e but I'm like you and love shifting. How is it on the street?

It's the most positive shifting box I've every driven. It requires learning how to drive it, 95% of the time I'm good - but when you miss time a shift it lets you know with all kinds of noise.

There are a bunch of videos on youtube with people driving them around.

It's noisy, brutal, and badass - but it's not for everyone.

If you are seriously considering it - I'd be willing to take you for a ride (time permitting of course) so you can experience it.

Sweet, would love to check it out sometime before the season is over!

Then I'd have to deal with my wife, she still hasn't driven the car since I've owned it and reminds me of it all the time.

If the weather holds we should be able to make it happen - I want a ride in your turbo car.

Unfortunately mines parked for the year. I keep getting locked out of 3rd when shifting at 6500+. That's what has me looking at faceplating it. Liberty rebuilt it 2 years ago but they feel the synchronizer assembly isn't going to cut it for what I have.
