Looks like you guys have some competition now from the intense-racing.com crew....Here is a post he made on another site of their current TT project.
Originally posted by HighhpI work for Intense racing and I'm in the middle of my build up right now. It is a 98 fireberd. We had it back halfed with a 4-link of course it is a full out drag race application. It has our 3800 race block, IS4 heads, IS4 turbo cam, with twin gt35r ball bearing turbo's, liquid to air IC and an ATI 400 turbo trans, 9 inch and alot more. We are gonna push it harder than anything we ever have. Being rear wheel drive we'll see what these motors can really take. We've got out fwd at 9.22 @ 154 mph right now but the trans are so weak we haven't been able to turn it up yet. It should be very exciting.
Here are some pics from the start

just for relavance 1000hp is enough HP and TQ to run mid 7's without to much trouble. I don't think either crew will hit that target with a 4bolt per cylinder headgasket layout.i think and from experience that at 750-800hp that heads are gonna give up the gasket even with orings.Originally posted by 97rs4lifeLooks like you guys have some competition now from the intense-racing.com crew....Here is a post he made on another site of their current TT project.

the big 3.8l guys use a custom setup where they add more bolts to the heads to keep them from lifting and blowing gaskets. They are already pushing around 800 horse from the grand prix cars that zzp and intense use to run 9s.------------------------------------------

because they are a 3.8l business and that is what they focus on. They have been one of the leaders in the 3.8l industry along with zzp and making parts for the 3.8l engine. That is why they are doing the tt 3.8l.------------------------------------------
