On my son's 1970 LS6 454 we used Earls fittings for the fuel lines and found out by using race fuel the rubber they have inside the fitting broke down and clogged up the jets in the carb. We then went to Aeroquip fittings with no more problems.

Great info, thanks. We've settled on premium XRP race adapters for the hard line to AN adapters that will be included in the kits.Originally posted by 2002Z4CSS View PostOn my son's 1970 LS6 454 we used Earls fittings for the fuel lines and found out by using race fuel the rubber they have inside the fitting broke down and clogged up the jets in the carb. We're targeting mid March, at this point, for having the first set built for fitment on Brett's LS Trans Am. There may or may not be some 'tweaking' of the fittings that are used (for example, if a straight fitting can be used instead of a 45, and the angle made up for in the hose bend w/o disrupting the OE line routing too much, we'll do that to keep costs as low as possible) We don't want to take any orders until we actually have them built and ready to ship. End of March is realistic for this.Originally posted by Gregs_gsxr View Postwhen can we get a visual of this kit? or when can we order ?
Thanks! We got a hold of a set of OE lines for reference.Originally posted by ICEPICK View PostMine come out to 9 ft on the lt1 from hook up to hook up
Should be the same for all lt1's

There shouldn't be anything required to attach/guide the lines. The distance from the hardline to the rail is only ~18in on LS cars.Originally posted by DETROITMUSCLE View Postwhat are you using to attach/guide the lines up the car? will anything be supplied or would those be optional for extra
For the LT lines we will be able to provide cushioned clamps.Last edited by Schuby87; February 22nd, 2013, 10:59 AM.sigpic

No, we're not going to be getting into the business of selling individual components like that. There are plenty of vendors that do that already. We will be the ones that are going to be adding value to them.Originally posted by Gregs_gsxr View Postwould you just sell some line say 20ft'er ?
If you want us to quote you the assembly of custom lines w/fittings specifically for your car, we will do that!Last edited by DMoser; February 22nd, 2013, 03:29 PM.

well it sounds like your only replacing stock ls and lt fuel lines, I thought this would be universal kit, that I would be able to use with fittings for my LS swap. Guess the title was a little confusing
or maybe an LS kit would workLast edited by Gregs_gsxr; February 22nd, 2013, 01:15 PM.'91 Camaro Modded, LSx, House of Kolor Intense White, lowered, GS chrome 18" wheels, 14" Brembo CTS-V on all 4 corners, LS rear end, FP suspension components

The LS and LT replacement lines will be the main focus. If you want custom length lines with specific fittings, that is something we can do. However, we won't be selling bulk line. We are in the process of a full fuel line replacement project.Originally posted by Gregs_gsxr View Postwell it sounds like your only replacing stock ls and lt fuel lines, I thought this would be universal kit, that I would be able to use with fittings for my LS swap. We've been doing a couple custom fuel systems and the LS lines didn't turn out to be as simple as originally thought, so we're a little behind where we want to be.Originally posted by ICEPICK View PostAny word on the lt1 lines? Prices? Ill be ready late june to jul. A little behind after emergency surgery. But wanting these.
We have a set of OEM LT lines to reference, but I think the best approach would be to get access to a vehicle to verify exactly what is needed, fit up, etc. The LS lines are close, we're just waiting on a hose end before we can do final validation. After that is done, we'll be looking for someone that is willing to let us use their LT.

Rail to rail you should be able to use my measurements without an issue, and that seems to be what most LT1 guys are doing. Theyre a little on the long side, but i didnt have any issues tucking it out of the way. Definitely recommend at least a dozen fasteners.-Joel
