interior stuff is easy to swap but idk about you but I would pay a little more for a 01 or 02 over anything else.

Its funny that everyone talks of these crazy cheap ls1 cars and they are like a unicorn. People claim to have seen them but a car in even semi decent condition is going to pull 5 grand.

Agreed, it's basically impossible to find a cheap LS1 T56 car.

If this next one I'm interested in, goes through. I might be running an auto until it blows up, then do a t56 swap.

I searched for a while before I found my red car. Honestly I started searching before I had the motor back together. As soon as I fired it up I knew that the hunt was on and it was a matter of time. So it took me 7 months to find...a project. If you can find a car in 3 months after taking 6 months to sell your car I think you will be doing good.

Any time you accept something that isn't ideal it gets easier.

Take a Auto, or a Z28 and its much easier to find. Take a tan interior and the lucky car might just appear. OK now I am just whoring your thread with stuff you already know.

All the extra info is great Nate.

I agree tho. When you aren't trying to find that 'exact' car it's becomes earlier.

That's exactly what I did! Found it on searchtempest and flew out to NJ a week later (after having it inspected by a third party).

I have a love-hate relationship with SearchTempest. It's great finding good used parts/cars across the nation, but in the end you still have to deal with the same CL bullshit...over a much greater distance
