Depends on what you are doing with it. When the duals don't sound much better, are heavier, and cost more it just doesn't seem worth it. The other car is actually going from duals to single because it's lighter (by 62lbs) and sounds better as well.

Pretty much. Old and new side by side:

Mine will have another 16" long resonator in it but that's it. Going from a dual 2.25" setup to a single 3.5"

That's not off an F-body. I can tell you that the GMMG is HEAVY. Once the Camaro gets more competitive it will be coming off for something much lighter.

                Lol....

Well this should fuel the fire....stay away from SLP anything. Garbage and sound like ass. Duals rule! Sound the best but are twice as heavy if you go full length....stay away from pavement dragging,,before axle dumps

If you have to stay with an I-pipe setup, Magnaflow or Corsa.

I highly highly doubt my 3" true duals are any heavier than my old single setup. And all the weight is in the middle of the car where it belongs.

I got it for $425 shipped to my door. All the pipes, hardware and tips. Only has 1,000 miles on it. Guy bought it, put it on and then decided to make his '01 SS a pro street car. So off it came. Pretty fired up about it.
