save up for the magnum t56 and have no worries, worth the money

t56 are not cheap to buy or build but the magnum correct the small issues on a stock t56

edit: contact Paul at liberty, one thing is he will talk your ears off about t56's and is very complete, tell you good and bad, also what corrects the bad or weak on stock t56.

i didnt even spend that much on the roller, or the lsx base i bought. i understand the need for good parts but $3,500 is not in my ball park.

idk, ill claim ignorance with magnums but i paid $2,000 for an ss roller and $1,000 for a 6.0. im not paying $3,500 for a trans

Did you figure out what harness/pcm you're going with?

I have a decent tune for a 6.0 with LS1 intake, TR224, and headers if you'd like the file - HP Tuners and EFILive format

                      K. Let me know if you need a baseline. The only big difference between 243's and 317 is combustion chamber cc. I'm running .041" quench gaskets instead of the .051" OEM's so the difference isn't major. Keep in mind that I stayed with 98 PCM and harness, 98 harness can be repined for 99+ PCM

Anyway, sometimes a deal pops up on the "craigslist" page you found the car on...but you and I both know what a shit show that is

These things get snagged so fast.

There is a guy near me that has a couple. Nice guy to deal with.

See if you can strike a deal with him I could get it as far as Arlington Heights, IL. I'm supposed to visit family soon.
