I made some sleeves to mate the center section of the 8.8 to my 10 bolt axles. I also made a torque arm bracket but no 9" ends (although I would love to) just some 31 spline axles from moser and a rebuilt trac-loc from a 03 cobra. I'm sure the posi won't last forever.
    Doing less with more

Do you have any pictures of how you did your TA bracket? Also, the main point of me doing the 9" ends is for the retaining of the axles. I plan to make some custom brackets to hang 4 piston Brembo fixed calipers to match my Brembo fronts. C clips and fixed calipers don't mix. I also plan to use a 31 spline Trac-Loc with the carbon fiber rebuild kit. I plan to mount a M122 on top this Winter and shoot for 650-700 to the tire. I know it's not the strongest but it will still be traction limited on 18" DR's so maybe it'll hold on.

Tyler, you can have the axle sitting in my garage. Not going to lie, it needs work. I tried to strip it down and the first thing that broke was the bolt that holds the t-block for the brake lines. The housing, axles, and a set of 3.42 gears - free. The carrier that came out of it is shot, the clutches are no good. I can throw in a series II posi, but you have to do something for me...if it's worth the trip over to GR.
