Nice memory Todd! Yep, I was pulled over at Plymouth and Middlebelt for loud exhaust (SLP LM2) and was given a fix it ticket (21 days to comply). I switched over to the Magnaflow system, headers back which was almost $600 plus a few other misc costs. The first few weeks I had the Magnaflow system, I hated it. After time, it broke in and I have to say, I love it. It has a nice low rumble, the cam sounds good and when you step on it, it really wakes up. If you are just cruising, you hardly notice it, which I like.

did you have headers or no cats or was it just the lm2 cause im buying a lm1 and i live right by there and dont want any tickets for it lol

Stick with stock manifold if you dont want to draw TO much attention. Saved up and get a system you wont regret down the road, that way if you decide for some LTs/ORY, you wont kick yourself in the butt because its to loud for you/the popo

Ive done alot of research regarding sound clips and what not, when I was searching for a catback for the Trans Am. Settled for a magnaflow after heading couple clips with LT's and ORY. Sound amazing to me, but everyone has their own taste!

my exhaust is forsale

if you are looking for the catback....its corsa 3" stainless piping, the muffler got a rattle, so i replaced it with a slp dual dual. just cut the inlet on the muffler and replaced it with a 3" inlet to match up with the pipe. i also have the other remaining pieces for the corsa systsm minus the muffler that would be yours too (including the tips).

Headers, no cat. It wasn't any louder than a motor cylce cruising by.
