Buy, take off someones hands, steal one from a boat being used as an anchor. I am looking for a project thinking about toying around in my garage with an engine, 305 or 350 (maybe). Just seeing if anyone has one lying around they dont want/need.

Yeah I got one out of a 84 Trans Am!
It had 50k on it when it was removed about 14 years ago.
I oiled the cylinders down with oil when I removed it.
It did not use any oil and ran good when it was removed.

you got plans for it? I guess I should have said local too but Im willing for a road trip

I have a spare 305 in the garage from my swap last fall. It has 212k on it, but it still ran good. The injectors are almost fully shorted out, and that's what killed it in the end. It would make a good rebuild candidate.

i have a partially complete 305, ill see if my dad wants to sell it or ig were going to use it

I have a 350 sitting in the back of the garage, haven't looked at it in awhile...

I also just put a bunch of rebuild stuff up for sale.
