i didn't say i used the stock flywheel...i bought a brand new SPEC3 and i got SPEC's Billett steel flywheel. both parts were brand new. and the flywheel wasn't cut flat to begin with from spec. i took a dial indicator and my spec flywheel wasn't even flat. it was extremly noticable once i took the clutch back out and half the flywheel was burned and whatnot, the other half of the flywheel hadn't been touched. and i'm not even joking. not a trace of contact on half the spec flywheel1998 Camaro SS Bullseye Turbo

im sure it is, its just saying that if something like that happened I would be less than enthusiastic to tear the trans apart again to correct someone elses mistake. When my spec three burns up, im definitely going to do it right and go with a street twin. These specs arent worth the gamble IMOOriginally posted by Mr Bojangleswell its a great flywheel once its straight if it already isnt from the factory.-Joel
