These LT1 cars are so cheap you would be better selling the car and buying an automatic and it would save yourself the hassle of swaping pedals, wiring, and the other modifications that are different.
No to be rude but your strictly looking for a 1996 or 1997 transmission and that same person needs to want a 100,000 miles transmission toss in additional cash. I think it will be tough to find that person.
