I have officially started the hunt for a G8. He's down to $18,500 in the CL ad.

Right now he's looking at doing a trade-in for a Porsche. Get a hold of him quick if you're interested!

Something I have noticed in the last few weeks is that older 911s are scorching hot right now.

Mid to late 60s 911S models are over 300K fully restored.

A good buy right now would be an early 80s 930...you can still get into one of those in the 40s, but not for long...

If it helps you for a comp I sold a 2008 G8 GT with 111k that was super clean for $14k.

Yeah, that stuff is a bit rich for my friend. He's looking at the 996 C4S, there are a couple of them he's really looking into right now.

Thanks, I'll pass that along. A guy is coming up from Kentucky to check it out this week for I believe $17k

Out of curiosity, any idea how it rides after being lowered?

He's driven it quite a bit since lowering it, and never once have I ever heard him complain about the ride quality. I've only ridden in it a couple of times, but I can say it certainly rides better than either of my cars (both of which are lowered).

Porsches are hotter than Ferraris right now...

Sounds like a sale is somewhat pending...I might be flying out to California with him in the next few weeks to drive the Porsche back, we'll see.

Pretty sure they never made a 996 GT3...

They did, although I believe it is the first generation of the gt3.
