Right now he's looking at doing a trade-in for a Porsche. Get a hold of him quick if you're interested!

Something I have noticed in the last few weeks is that older 911s are scorching hot right now.
Mid to late 60s 911S models are over 300K fully restored.
A good buy right now would be an early 80s 930...you can still get into one of those in the 40s, but not for long...Originally posted by Redd8407I WANT NOISE! SPEED! It annoys me more then anything.

If it helps you for a comp I sold a 2008 G8 GT with 111k that was super clean for $14k.Originally posted by alone_and_insane View PostI don't think he quite expects to get that much for it. He's going more for the "you can always go down in price, but you can never go back up" thing. If you're interested, don't be afraid to shoot him an offer!_JASON

Yeah, that stuff is a bit rich for my friend. He's looking at the 996 C4S, there are a couple of them he's really looking into right now.Originally posted by 81DaytonaPaceCar View PostSomething I have noticed in the last few weeks is that older 911s are scorching hot right now.

He's driven it quite a bit since lowering it, and never once have I ever heard him complain about the ride quality. I've only ridden in it a couple of times, but I can say it certainly rides better than either of my cars (both of which are lowered).

Sounds like a sale is somewhat pending...I might be flying out to California with him in the next few weeks to drive the Porsche back, we'll see.
