sweet always loved them impalas,thats in super shape,and black is defenatley the color to keep,best color for an impala.hope that magnet works good for you and u can get that thing rolling again,bet it will shift alot better too,did u go with the billet upgrades.

I found out that a magnet for the Mopar 727 transmission pan is the same dimensions...I guess I'll have to wait and see what I get in the mail. Fingers crossed.

The setup is a Badlanze HPE "custom e-cutout" setup with a one off adapter to fit my Magnaflow stainless cutout

I'll keep you posted on the Impala project!

Tyler - Yup, got the check yesterday...a bit higher than quoted though You have all the free tuning you want coming your way.

Darren - Sorry for such the long delay, which is an understatement. I forgot about them sitting in the back of my truck for forever. I found that Jegs sells 3/4" billet spacers...but I really think the LS1 brake swap and those 1/2" spacers is the right way to go. Probably the best upgrade (within a reasonable dollar amount) that you can do for the third gen!

Magnet should be in tomorrow. As for the cutout - it's very nice but it took a few months to get it built (laser cut flanges flanges took forever) and I could have bought a direct fit cutout from the same guy for quite a bit less, I already had the stainless Magnaflow manual cutout installed though. With all that said, I'm still very satisfied with how it turned out!

No package. Instead of sending it out to me after it processed in the Grand Rapids sort facility, they put it on another truck and sent it up to the Traverse City sort facility

No wonder USPS is going belly up.

thats a bunch of b.s, i hate shipping with usps for that same reason takes them forever to get product shipped,lots of unhappy customers thats for sure whenever i sell on ebay i refuse to ship my customers product with USPS had too many bad dealings and unhappy customers with them.

Got the magnet this morning right after I sold my 700r4 and was able to get the trans back together before I had to leave for work. Should have the car back on four wheels by midnight!
