    Thanks all of you!!

Thanks all of you! You all seem very friendly.

Suzy, Brent and I are all very much looking forward to meeting you all.

Brent, as I may have mentioned is 21. He has some autistic tendencies and is developmentally delayed, but he KNOWS cars! He is having a great time looking at all of your great looking cars, in fact he gets kind of irritated with me when I get off the site. This is sort of turning into a nightly ritual.

Say, Bigjon (did I get that right?) The fellow with the Butterfly fish avatar- do you have an aquarium?

Well back to scoping out all your cool pics.

    Dave

I've got a 55 gallon freshwater tank with a lonely Oscar in it. Always keep wanting to start up my 75 gallon that I have sitting empty and do an African Cichlid tank again.

And don't worry, Dave - this will turn into more than a nightly ritual. I started the site and it was only a "once a day" thing - now it's a "once every 15 minutes" ritual.

I can see that happening/ aquariums

Yes. I can see looking at the site frequently. It's a little odd for me though- We are members of the Firehawk club and really enjoy the people in the club,
but I don't spend all that much time on the site.

Brent loves to look at the cars, but knows every damn picture by heart.

You guys/girls seem very friendly though and your site is very cool. Obviously the variety of cars and number of members has something to do with this too. I have to tell you I'm surprised I've not heard about your "group" from any of our fellow Michigan Firehawkers...they've never struck me as a snobby group???

Anyway, at our previous house I had a 300G. Reef, a 50G. Planted Fresh Tank, (2) 12 G. reefs, a 35G "hospital" reef, and a 5g. Fresh Tank. Unfortunately it just didn't make sense to try to keep any of them up when we moved. The 300G. was built into the basement and I couldn't have taken it in any case. Miss them all, not sure I miss all the work.

Someday in the future I might do another 12G nanoreef in my office?

Back to Cars!! I've a question, and I will ask in the technical section, but before I forget:

Last year we had to move the 'Hawk during the winter. The chrome wheels have a little bit of salt pitting- still looks good, but drives me crazy- suggestions?

          Thanks!!

            Hey Dave,

Unfortunately our site is driven 100% by word of mouth, random searches, etc. I'm willing to bet that since there's just not too many of us with Firehawks on the site (it is a rare car afterall ) that the word hasn't spread over to the Firehawk club that you belong to. If you're willing to share the informaton to your fellow Firehawkers about our Meet & Greet it would really be appreciated. We don't entirely consider ourselves a true club by nature - just a social association where people come and go as they please and we just all share the same love for the FBodies. They're more than welcome to come to our Meet & Greet without having to register usernames on our site.

Those fish tanks you had sound awesome and while I definitely envy the sounds of your setups, I DEFINITELY do not envy the work that goes into it. My little 55g tank that's left has been a real chore to keep up anymore... just fell out of the hobby. Used to be a fish expert at PETsMART for freshwater community and african cichlids.

                Diggin' on the "House" clip

That House clip is totally cool. So how do you that?

Yeah, my older Son Neal worked for Preuss for almost 4 years, that's really what got me so heavily involved.

I will indeed pass on info to the Firehawk Club. I know one of my buddies who has a very cool '01 Hawk who often comes to Sundays at Baker's would probably enjoy coming to the M & G too.

                  Thanks, Muscle Car Club?

I'm afraid I somehow messed up my message.

I was asking BadZ28 about the Muscle Car Club. Tell me more about them.
I'm trying to include a pic of each car.

No expert at this yet, that's for sure. I'll keep trying. Hm. Seem to be having trouble actually getting the picture in as part of my reply.

                  Anyway, Thanks again!

Are you using the "manage attachments" button on the reply page?

if yes, is it giving you a "security token" error?

that usually means the pictures are too big.

No, I did not use the "manage attachments button", but I'm pretty sure I didn't use it the first time I tried it and did it successfully. Is there another way to do it- whoops maybe I shouldn't confuse myself just yet.

Thanks for your help with this stuff. I appreciate it.

                        Yowza, that worked

                        Hola,

I just tried what you suggested. That worked although until I saw my post, I had no idea that it worked.

I'll keep fooling around with this.

                        Thanks again,
