thanks guys, i can already tell this site is going to be a great place for me. i am not sure whats wrong with my car, here is a list of what its been doing

                    1) when i start it up, it cranks over but it wont start until i try it 2-5 times and then sometimes when it does start it idles really rough for a minute or 2 and then you can hear it clear out and it idles smoothly.

                    2) i supposedly have a torque converter and shift kit but sometimes my trans wont shift until i let off the gas. both problems started last week, i changed the plugs and the trans thing went back to normal. i was driving yesterday and it did it again but then when i drove it later on, it was shifting fine.

                    3) it sometimes bogs really bad around 2,000 rpms. if you are cruising around and the rpms are around 2000 and then you slowly hit the gas or even wot it bogs bad.

i know i have at least one wire arching (i found that yest.) and i bought a fuel filter last night. do you think these things could be the problem? i also checked my fuel pressure and its around 40psi at idle.

                    sorry this is so long

Yeah, I forgot that I'll be around there too, since I'm going to Kettering as well.

So there's a bunch of us around that area if you need help.

                          Party?

Welcome to the site! Sounds like a fun project you have. Every time I hear about people having problems with bogging all I can think about is EGR.
