After taking a closer look its a z28, on the dash i noticed z28.

But the grill is cracked all to hell. I want the non lovered grill.

Ill post a vin asap dont have the title around me at the moment.

The only other issue i have with it is the fact of a non posi rear.

Im thinking about welding the carrier gears together to make it alittle more
          fun on the street.

Ill probably be replacing the rear end with something newer, maybe 93-02
          From a formula or z28

But ive done the 1st then reverse thing on this car it always works like a charm,

I have a few more pics and even took a video.

But my other z28 needs some work now too.

Long story short its been into 3 bumps in the past week.

First the wife hit a HUGE pile of frozen ice/snow and ripped
A big chunk of paint off my front bumper

Second she backed into my 87 5 speed and sent it sideways 2 feet
(No damage to the 87 thank god) left a red mark on the rear bumper

Third she backed into my parents jeep and it didnt really do anything
          But irritate me lol.

So i need to sand my front bumper and respray it,

And buff the hell out of my rear bumper.

Im also looking to trade the wheels on my 87 off for some cragar ss wheels.

Front tires are new rears could use a replacement but are good for driving on for awhile.
          Prob have 2-3 32nd left.

          Will post vid/pics/vin and rpos

                video 1

The tach needs replaced, the hvac needs alittle adjustment.
And e brake cable needs replaced. Also the motor was cold
                In this video.

Nothing like a carb motor stalling ones the choke flap opens
When you give it gas when cold lol

Video 2, this ones just an exhaust clip of the two cars,

The 5 speed sounds nice. And you can also see the damage
On my 93 time for alittle tlc. And yes my 93 is now a t top car.

I missed my t tops lol

hey its that car. that one was on craigslist for quite some time. interior doesnt look to be z28 either. also spider gear welding for street use is a not so fun idea.

Still doesn't look Z28 like to me, that thing sits more like a Silverado. Why do people always need to put speakers in the door panels?

Do not weld the rear, you will regret it. Hell, the open diff is probably why you still have a working NWC T5

Edit: If you go with a 93-02 rear, you cannot use Cragar S/S rims unless they are the modern ones for high offset vehicles. Those rear ends are nearly 4 inches wider.

Its not a bad car at all. Upon further looking at it ive found out that the
Spare tire area is going to need some work.
Its been spray painted the red i found two cans of
99¢ red in the rear storage spot touch ups on the go? Lol

Im going to need wider tires if i keep these rims, the fronts
Are 205s and the rears are 215.

And i agree completely with you hoogie, why ruin a good set of panels. For
a speaker? Ive got some little fun things to do. I love a new project
                          Its like xmas lol.

But my brother is having a problem with his 1982 berlinetta

It wont crank without someone tapping the starter solenoid.
You can beat the body of the starter untill your arm goes numb
Nothing wont even crank. Tap the starter solenoid gently and it cranks.

Im thinking its a loose wire or bad solenoid.

Should we try the solenoid first? Or is a bad starter in the works?
It never drags when hot or cold

Solenoids are cheap, worth a shot.

Auto? I have a new starter for automatics on the shelf. Manual trans starters have a different snout.
