Did you witness this? I'm calling BS. I had a pretty bltching little 305 at one point and it wouldn't muster a 14 flat. That was with Vette L98 alum heads custom cam full length headers blad blah blah. They are lame motors period.

Yeah I was full dressed with my speakers in the rear, the whole 9 yards. I could have squeaked a couple tenths off taking that out, plus slapping on a set of slicks. 14 flat for a stock 305, I'd have to see that one myself.

Building a 305 for a rat rod. Rat rods are supposed to be built on budgets. Have a 305, 10 bolt, BMW Recaro seats, tons of SBC parts, full MSD ignition setup, and more just laying around. It just makes sense to put all this stuff to use instead of letting it collect dust. Now if only I could get rid of this 87 Camaro roller sitting in my back yard!
