                Progress update

                Headers detached - drivers side out, got all the spark plugs out. The plugs look like they have been singed/burned, even though they were replaced probably no more then 10k ago.. They seemed so much more of a hassle to get out then I last remember loll.
                Drivers side head - Took all the bolts under the valve cover out, rockers off. Now the 8-10 bolts on the outer edge are loosened.. I took one all the way out and coolant started squirting out like mad haha

                Anyways.. so i guess i just have to drain my coolant, then get the bolts off the passenger side and its all skin n bones..

                Last night I was hoping for a hand or just company so i got beer, then no one came so I drank it all and got tanked loll.

                Need some help getting a parts list together and some ideas for what to get myself for Christmas .....thinkin..

                Long tubes or just dump under the car, I dont like the 2 flowmasters on one side.

                  i got a set of 2.02 by 1.60 67cc sbc heads for sale. there fresh out fo the shop with a rebuild. new seals and a couple of new valves. im selling for 500$ for both. let me know if your interested. also come with stamp tip rockers.

                  they came of of my dads vega b/c he got new ones when he rebuilt the entire motor. so there great and do work.

                      Not sure. the motor the heads were on were pushing 9.5 compression with a 488lift cam and a 750 holly. so idk the HP it can take but im sure they would be fine for your plans.

                        Did you check your heads at all? There will be casting numbers on them that can determine where they came from...

                          3888820 is that it???? the first 2 eights kinda look like 9's so im not sure on that but i think there 8's.

                          there primed grey and baged. awaiting a nice home.
