the short block is done... thank god.. all notched and balanced.. now just have to finnish the PNP job on the heads... probably going to toss the motor in first then put the heads on it. atleast that way i can have it half wired up and only need to tweak it once the heads are done... put insurance back on it shooting for next saturday to have her on the road again... if not sundayOriginally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. oh it will be there... right now im looking into the LT1 intake conversion that matt kindly pointed out to me... fuel injection that can handle my motor with a good price... and the lines on the lt1 would match my vavle covers nice...just as a bonus..lol
i just contacted the guy who makes them up seeing what he is going to recomend for my motorOriginally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. But it's not exactly street legal, so keep it on the down low.

it is done.. well running i ordered the same headers i had last time hooker shorties, only one side matches up so have to tow it to the exhaust shop in the morning to get it fixed.. and one other small problem, lol my mech forgot to put the freeze plug in behind the cam so it spued oil ever where when i got it running... so he works at the same shop now just going to toss it in his bay make him toss the freeze plug in it by yanking the trans sence the motor is all squared away and wired up, had alot of problems getting it going at first and its not going to be top notch for a while but still way better then last year but atleast by tomorrow afternoon i will be on the road with it. got the cowl painted.. not the best paint job but good enough to get me by dont plan on keeping the 2 inch doesnt look big enough... but i will be at the meet and greet under its own power so im happy.Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice.
