im not asking you or telling you to have a specific attitude, i was simply saying that if your specialty car sounds like and you still drive on it and say ehh well if its gonna blow up its gonna blow up i dont care, i wont waste my time fixing the issue, ill take the "ricer" way towards it and just do an engine swap. it seems awfully pointless and somewhat disrespectful to start a thread asking for help on diagnosing a problem just to say fk it.

Didn't you say you could barely hear it? That sounds like a sewing machine in a sweat shop after the kids have been working 24 hours non stop. You have some major valvetrain issues.

I've already told you pull the valve covers off.
It could be simple as a rocker came off.
You can't diagnose something without tearing into it. This is how you learn.
