  • Well got the fender finally, scrap busters in Wayne had it. Also picked up a mint t top headliner. Also there's a non cracked 98-02 dash pad there if anyone needs it! I was going to buy it but I'm worried about it breaking on the way back.

    • Picked up an SS hood from mike, got it back and it had a 60 grit sandpaper feel to it. So I dry sanded it with 400 grit.

Then I wet sanded it with 400 grit

Now its smooth as a baby's butt! And mike did a perfect job repairing the hood. Smooth as ever.

So tomorrow I prime and temp paint it. Throw it on the car. And then start the body work on my quarter panels and patch the rear foot floor pans on my z28. Found a baseball sized soft spot so time to fix before it gets worse.

          • Thanks, nice to meet you too.

I have it in the garage right now drying. Had a few rock chips in it that needed worked out but that took probably
20 min if that. Then I primed and shot it with a coat of black. Now just waiting for it to dry. I'll go take a pic and
            Post it

              • Well hoods on the car. Paint came out looking like total shit. Going to have to touch up a few areas but all in all helped the look of the car a lot.

                But now it won't start???

Got spark at the coil just none at the plugs. I'm thinking cap and rotor swap?

                  • Pull the number 1 injector, put a test light on the pink wire I believe and crank are you getting a pulsing test light?
If not the opti sensor isn't reading.

                    • Its running now. And running great,

Came home and cranked on it for 30 seconds straight,
Then I let off the key and it coughed out of the cold air

Then cranked again for 15 sec or so it coughed twice out of the intake

Then I cranked it again and again then I heard it try and hit and kept going.

Stopped hit the key again with a little gas and it sputtered to life I reved it a few times to clear the overload of gas and its fine now.

Starts right as the starter engauges and has all of its power???

                      Weird huh?

                              • I put about 4 gallons in it after that video and it didn't help. On the flip side I do have almost a half tank now lol

I'll probably change the cap and rotor and find out if that's it.
