I lied. I am getting 12 volts at the fuse box under the hood, but the interior fuse box is only partial power. The windows, wipers, and radio get 4 volts when the key is turned backwards, but nothing when it is in the on position. And the gauges and ignition fuses are not getting any power.

Also, even though I am reading 4 volts to the radio and window, they do not work. Should they be 12 volts?

Gauges come on when in on position. So I fixed that issue. But now that there is a new lock cylinder in there, the security light is on. I am going to try unhooking the battery for a while and then attaching it again and turning the key to on for 20 min or so. Hope it works... probably wont though.

Did you get a lock cylinder with a key that matches your stock resistance?

I was told that this lock cylinder is universal and should be compatible. Key word is should

That's the issue, the vats is looking for the resistance of the chip on the key, which is not there. I believe there are a couple people on here that know how to get around this by wiring a resistor in to fool it.

Take your dash cover off underneath the steering wheel and find the orange wire. Just need to wire in a plug that has the resistance of your key/bcm. Use the plug off your old ign cylinder.

Hope you have a multimeter. I used the hell out of mine, got pissed and bought a fluke. Made life much nicer.
