It helps to unload the front of the car with the sway bar removed up front, also saves a little weight. Your car doesn't drive like crap with it removed IF you have a nice large rear drag bar, or an actual anti roll bar. My wolfe anti roll bar in the rear is so strong it keeps the front planted just fine for normal driving.

What this guy said. I have never had a front sway bar on my car.. When I had my 18's on all 4's handled like a charm..

Yep, I would of been buying some new parts doing this 9" swap if a few parts weren't adjustable.

i dont think my car hooked bad for having stock suspension. my best 60' was 1.64 but did mid 1.7s on a regular basis even with street tires. i very rarely wheel hopped and ran straight. maybe next year i will find a reason to go adjustable
