Here is the tank and boost controlled regulator I am using...(also sold as powershot)...this tank is a perfect fit for where my t tops go and I can tap boost and run the feed like to the inlet side of my remote turbo with fairly short hoses.

All I need to complete this kit is a small regulator and a propane vaporized in case liquid gets sloshed around into my line ( not a necessity but.I am willing to do it
considering my application)...should be a perfect/ easy setup for me.

This will also allow the use of stock fuel system besides injectors because all high octane fuel is supplied as a vapor and supplied progressivley under boost. Just set the flow high and watch the wideband lean it out until the air fuel is right.2011-09-10_13-17-09_817.jpg2011-09-10_13-17-19_847.jpg

looks good, are you going to paint anything or leave it as it ?

Here is a picture of a typical diesel unit....what I am using for my.boosted application.

Boost/vac line hooks to the bottom and controls a diaphragm to shut off/ turn on or allow more propane to flow. Pretty much I could say 5 psi start time (or whatever i want to set) and allow progressive flow up to max boost mixing in he turbo for even mixture. This is an increase of about 80-120 hp/ft points on a diesel pickup as well as 7-10 mpg.

My dads 05 cummins ram averages 29-32 mpg everywhere....all stock aside from this unit and 3:73 gears.2011-09-10_14-52-34_855.jpg

It will be much more clear how it works once I have the turbo on/hoses ran.

Just got under the hood powerwashed/degreased. I was thinking of using matching blue paint to touch up where I scratched up my firewall like a moron taking the headers on and off multiple times.

What do you guys think of painting the firewall black? Maybe use chassis saver on it for durability?

Got my camshaft/timing set from Lingenfelter the other day. Just waiting on my ls9 head gaskets/oil pump o-ring for the pickup tube and the motor is back together.

Only thing left to buy is my l92/ls3 Vic jr which isn't to pricey.

Oh and talk to Dr. Phil about getting this ***** tuned.

looks awesome so far! may be a dumb question, but does the propane do for you? lower IAT temps?

Vapor propane is very rich...I am using it for detonation control/ extra fuel.

Rather than extra gasoline under boost the regulator we use is operated.off.boost pressure and.will mix propane in the turbo progressivly under boost.

Think of it like a stand alone race fuel tank for a wet nitrous shot but using vapor fuel added under boost.

This will actually add more fuel to my mixture. Not just detonation control.

Coming along! IMO you don't see much of the firewall once the motor is in. IMO just clean it up save the time and money elsewhere.
