I understand that but its not like there is a huge difference between one and an LS1 is my point. Because it has 18more ci and is iron that makes it better/cooler?Might as well just use whatever you can get your hands on for cheapest in that case.Originally posted by ThreeHonks View Postuhhh an LQ would be different cause its not an LS1Doing less with more

I don't want to do an engine swap. I want a 383 LT1 thats it. If I wanted to do a engine swap it would be off the wall. Ill swap a RN26DETT twin turbo. Rofl kidding.Originally posted by Yoshi94Mines about an inch bigger than Kyles. no. Im am saying the whole picture. An LS1 swap is common as hell. I even like Jeff's build a lot cause its unique to being an LS2, dont see that a whole lotOriginally posted by Boost Addict View PostSo are Chevlles and 69 Camaros over played because people put stroked small blocks in them?

And the LQs aren't? No one does an LS1 swap anymore, it's always LQx. Just go with any of the LS-series and be done with it.Originally posted by ThreeHonks View PostAn ls1 is over-played- Brian Meissen

I see a ton of cars thathave the generic LS1 swap. All im saying is its very common and there are better motors out there than the LS1. You guys are reading into what I said way too muchOriginally posted by meissen View PostAnd the LQs aren't? No one does an LS1 swap anymore, it's always LQx.
