  • N8's eBay Speed Daddy Lt1 headers install

Got my headers that I ordered from SpeedDaddy on eBay.

They were packaged poorly. Nothing is scratched or dented or anything but they could do a better job with it.

They look great. All the welds are clean and look great.

Material its self feels great too. They are exactly what I wanted(pre instillation)

I paid $300 shipped. Gaskets and clamps were included too. I would have liked them to be a bit larger but these should be a nice improvement for me.

make sure you get better gaskets or youll be ... well buying them anyway when that paper junk starts leaking.

Gaskets I got with mine were stainless. Worked fine until I re-used them.

                Used to own a Firebird.

I think they are going to fit as well as any other LT1 header. With 160,000 miles its going to be my car that fits, not the headers. I think any other brand would be just as big of pain in the ass install. We will find out in 23 days. lol

These came with stainless gaskets too. IDK why everyone just assumes they will be junk before pics are even posted.

because every header has been supplied with junk gaskets for the last 10 years.

I use felpro, factory manifold gaskets. The embossed metal kind. They are cut out to slide right in over the bolts on the center 2 cylinders for ease of installation. And if the bolts loosten up and you get a leak, which will happen, you just tighten them up and all is good. I look mine up for a 1994 chevy truck at AutoZone. Eric L

Just make sure you buy *HEADER* gaskets and not *MANIFOLD* gaskets. Stock manifold gaskets use different bolt patterns than headers do.
