Some thick plexiglass with colored LED's?

Probably be covered in oil after the first drive but it would look cool for a bit anyhow.

    Used to own a Firebird.

And I think as far as proceedure goes, im going to work on the roof the most, taking the ski slope out of it. Than im going to work on the floor to try to drop it down a little up by the plenum. Im planing on tapering the devider wall between the ports, but not really messing with the outside walls other than straightening them up a little bit. Im going to keep it pretty simple. Eric L

Thats all the pics I gots. I didnt take a pic of the hole yet, im to pissed. Essentially all im doing is widening the runner at the plenum and blending it into the gasket surface end of the port. Its probably about a hundred thou wider at the plenum. Than I raised the runners on each port behind the injector bung.........................hence the hole. The hole is on Cyl # 1. Cyl # 1 netoriously has air flow issues so I was opening that one up a little more than the others and "pop". Not a big deal, I just need to find someone who could tig weld cause all my sources are either out of business, out of state, or out of touch. The porting isnt mirror smooth, but from what I was told perfect smoothness isnt nescesary in this case. I just used a couple of single cut bits and a sanding roll. I have 2 ports left and than I think I will go back over everything with a sanding roll again and touch it up.

Use a little sanding roll grease, it'll save the roll and help it cut better - giving you a more smooth finished surface. I wish I know what the real name of the stuff was... we used to use it all the time at my old job. It came in a 3" dia. tube shape that was about 10" long

EDIT: looks like this is the stuff...

                          http://www.eastwood.com/ew-grinders-grease-8-oz.html

just run the roll over it every once in a while and it'll keep it cutting better

I have had good luck with the sanding rolls suprisingly. I am using parafin wax on the grinding bits. It works well and is cheap. And I can use it to wax my snow shovel and me and Jasons tobogon for this winter.......................win, lol.

Well, I got the port (oops) on cyl #1 welded up and got all the porting roughed in. I guess this tells me how close I was on all the other ports, lol. A well placed injector will all but cover the repair on the outside. And I have a few small divits in the roof of the port after smoothing everything out. Turned out satisfactory AFAIC. I will have some more pics later this week when I get time. And I still have to weld the top back on after I find some plate aluminum. Im on the hunt. Eric L
