Lol, my reputation must proceed me, lol. Im still debating when im done weather to weld on the stock top piece, or do something........................differant. Any ideas are appreciated. Im thinking maybe a flat polished piece of aluminum and powdercoating the rest of the intake. IDK, we will see. Eric L

Im hoping to get to HF today and pick up some 6 inch long single cut grinding bits. I have the big compressor wired in the garage, and the die grinder is set on kill, lol. Im planing on working on it wed for a while, than thanksgiving night and maybe friday if i get the day off, we will see. But the top is a blank canvas. Im looking for ideas on what to do with that. Ive given thought to raising the roof, but the LTX intake already has to much plenum volumn for a natural aspirated setup imho. So it will probably stay the same size, but what to do with that top plate? Eric L

Maybe if I screw up the porting ill weld up the runners, put a piece of plexiglass on it and turn it into a fish tank, lol. Yeah, that would be pimp......................Eric L, lol

I'd make a flat plate for the top and drill and tap some holes and keep it a 2 piece design, that way if you ever needed to get back in there you could. small bead of gasket maker before it goes back on should keep it sealed up tight. Looking at someone like John Marcella's work he does this quite often.

This is for mine. I think with the recent spike in LT4 intake prices were going Single plane with his. Plus with the RPM his is going to see, I think a single plane is the way to go. Yeah, this is for mine, so im not going nuts on it, just working on a few problem areas on it, having a little fun, and learning something in the process. I needed a hands on project to keep my mind occupied. Eric L

very nice, anticipating the final product. lt4 intakes always seem to pull a high dollar.

Although, I do have to admit............................A big spyder looking setup on top of an LTx intake would look pretty cool, lol. Eric L
