Beating the piss out of it would be gear grinding and stupid clutch drops. I just change gear faster than the typical pace

a race clutch doesnt hurt either. Surprised that things still holding together.

    • Least I don't have to worry about my rear blowing up now or the clutch exploding and tearing my feet off, unlike Mr Joel.

              • Starting to think my vibration resides with the clutch/flywheel. I could feel it on the highway at 70 and its not the driveshaft. Maybe a bolt backed out? The last thing i feel like doing is pulling a transmission now

I've become pretty good at this. If it needs to be done, call me.

                    • Thanks Eric. If thats what it comes to i will need help. I cant handle wrestling a trans right now.

I am going to try plugs and a new harmonic balancer first and go from there.

                      • I like how everyone suddenly has vibration problems. Haha.
                        Still chasing mine.

Mine is at 90 now but I feel it through the shifter, can kinda feel it through the car but it feels like its vibrating right down the center of the car. So I am going to look at the driveshaft next.

Shit with a lift yours will be easy to do!

                        • Race car gauges!! I still need to wire the pod, but the digital tach is done. Quite happy so far and my interior is now pretty much done. I also decided that front speakers were worth the extra couple pounds and reinstalled them. I eventually want to change to a pair that isnt blue though. Otherwise, Interior is basically done now.

                          • What gauges are you running?

So fair I am also liking the Viking Shocks/Coilovers.

                            • Jury is still out on my suspension... I was expecting firm but its a llot harsher than i expected.

Guages are tach w/ shift light, oil temp and vacuum. All red digital... Pod gauges are tinted.

                              • Ramey from UMI suggested I start with my shocks at 6 settings for comfort. I haven't changed them yet but I have taken a round about at about 40 and very little body roll. I need to set them to the Autox settings and go tear on some corners.
