The more i think about it that makes a lot of sense. Wish i was at home to check that quick.
Although i dont think that explains the deadspace in the pedal... Maybe i have a couple of issues going on,-Joel

Again, hardware is 100% not the problem here. I know its hard to believe, but my stock brakes actually work great. Using the right hardware goes a long way. Ive got 4 seasons on these hawk HPS/raybestos combo and it still all looks like it was installed a week ago.
At this point I'm pretty certain this is a problem with either the vacuum line, vacuum check valve, brake booster, or POSSIBLY the master cylinder.Last edited by JoeliusZ28; May 12th, 2014, 10:25 AM.-Joel

Did you use an aftermarket one or just a stock replacement?-Joel

I still have like 40-50% life left (if not more) on my HPS pads that I installed in November 2010...I just replaced the [Raybestos Advanced Tech] rotors last year...those pads last FOREVER, produce hardly any dust, and man do they bite when they warm up.Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View PostIve got 4 seasons on these hawk HPS/raybestos combo and it still all looks like it was installed a week ago.Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z
