Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Also what about a solid Torque arm Bushing I know most of the flex is prob in the arm itself but would this help much?
the stock torque arm is the single biggest cause of wheel hop, honestly no point in bothering with anything else if you dont have that taken care of first - thats my opinion after buying tubular LCAs and still having wheel hop.
I boxed my factory control arms on my last 4th gen. They worked great and didnt weigh that much. But I agree with everyone else on the torque arm, wait it out and buy a used after market one. Single best suspension mod. I have never had wheel hop. Ive unloaded the suspension on launch and spun, but havent had any wheel hop. So I cant comment on the hop. And Larry, I think your a dick for the Rick roll trick, cause thats the second time youve got me with that one...........................................dick , lol. Eric L

Lol, right now, I actually have a home made tubular torque arm that uses the factory front and rear mount. Its really ugly, lol, but it works well, and even on my crappy tires, hooks like a beeeyaachhh when the tires get some heat in em. And I guess thats really what counts, but man, is it ugly. Eric L

he got me too.. i didn't know what was happening at first lol but then figured it out... it was stupid! but very funny
Ok well I ordered an energy suspension torque arm bushing Im putting it in and boxing the LCAs on sat. Ill also keep an eye out for a aftermarket torque arm to go along with this stuff since Ive heard nothing but good things about them.
My stock LCA Bushings seem to still be in good shape should I keep them or do they allow to much play even when there in good shape?
Also if I replace them should I just go with Polyurethane bushings Or would the Moog 1LE bushings be up to the task of street/strip?
