okay, I am dumping my borla off, its just to much for me. not meaning loud, i just don't like em.

I am going true duals and dumping them at the axle, I am making my own pipes. But wanted to know what mufflers sounds the best With a cammed lt1 with true duals?

I had TDs dumped before the axle with 4 bullets (2 in each after the x,) and it was unbearably loud. Granted I have a 'vert, but it was even worse when the top was up. It sounded like I was inside a speaker at a kid rock show. You may as well throw away your radio if this is the route you want to go.

dumped duals are loud reguardless what mufflers, my spintech setup sounded mean as shit tho. i have a clip on youtube if u want me to post it. 3 1/2 inch true duals with a x pipe lol (only had that size because the deal i got was a steal)

I disagree - I have true duals with an X-pipe and Moroso spiral flow mufflers and it's quieter at cruising speed than my loudmouth was! I live directly behind the city police here and my exhaust is pointed at them every time I start my car. The only comments I get from them are about how good it sounds

I never said my borla is tooo loud, i said its to much for me i hate the rasp it has and it doesnt sound as clean as i want.

I will be doing and xpipe then mufflers and dumping before the rear end, again it says no where my borla is to loud sorry for the confusing post, i just meant i dont like them.

yeah i just bolted up my 2.5 inch pipes straight back to Thrush turbo mufflers.. sounds good and clean.. cheap system and it sounds decent.. considering the mufflers keep me under the Decebles for Nc.. but it is quite loud, and is still ratteling stuff of the shelves in the house.. 8-O

yeah mines loud, as it is i have to push the car out of the driveway when i get the munchies at night or my neighbor gets pissed but i respect him since he works at 2am.

i love loud but want to keep it semi legal.
