Yeah my dad surprised me with it when we did my first H/C swap. He came in one day with a bag from Sears where he bought this one. I guess it was like $100 but its perfect and he also shaved down the collar on my old bolt so the balancer pulls off right over the bolt. Its the shit, slap it on garb an impact and off it come in 10 seconds

Yea that's the plan. I talked to Jeff last night and were gonna make sure his TB is the same as mine and send it out to get P&P'ed cauz I've got the money for that right now so I might as well get it done. And depending on if I get my tax return in time (which I think I will be) I'm gonna look around for a good deal on an LS6 intake so we can install it when we do the headers. So after that I'm just going to save for the converter because the P&P'ed TB, headers, and intake were the three thing I wanted done this season and it looks like it may get done by March. So maybe if I save by the end of summer or fall I can get the converter.Originally posted by c0ncEpT View PostNo it will run fine. It wont make all the power but it will run fine.
And take Jeff's TB and send yours out to get P&P'ed. Its cheap power right there too.
And don't even thinking about getting a cam until you get a converter dude. You will be sorry.
No he doesn't he has only changed his cam twice Mike...

the valve springs SUCK. I took them to Steve after one spring compressor fell apart mid compression and shot the retainer up into the air and at the wall - thank god no one was hovering over the spring when the tool broke. The other C-clamp style one we had didn't have the "oomph" to compress the spring... we'd squeeze the handle until it was as far as it could go (which was NOT easy, let me tell you..) and it didn't even compress at all.

cmon guys, with the correct tool, like the one that I showed you B, Taking a valve spring off takes all of 30 seconds. We raced at work one day and therewas an experianced tech who got a valve spring off and back on within 45 seconds.

Don't forget to get a tune. That's going to give you the biggest gains of all the mods when your done. Even with just bolt on's I see guys over on Tech going from 13.5's to 13.0's all day long after a tune!Originally posted by Z28ISGR8 View PostYea that's the plan. Last summer I was investigating different options and if I recall correctly, Vector Motor Sports wanted $600 to do the install. Here's their info.
