Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I was thinking the same thing. He's replaced the wires 3 times, opti once, and plugs a few times with different gaps and different heat ranges.
He said the car runs amazing like 2,500rpm and up. It's idle-2,500rpm it acts up. Says it does the exact same thing it did in the videos of his car from a few months ago.

hes def fed up with his car i talk to him a couple hours ago, as of right now im kinda not sure what it could be either
he moves the wires it idles like shit and moves them again it changes
he is running tr55's in it im not sure on his exact compression ratio but im at 11.5:1 and running a tr6 (cooler plug) at .040 gap and it seems pretty good
but i think he should be fine still with 55's

Yeah, there's not a whole lot to the ignition system, and most of it he's replaced.
He said it started when he put his Taylors on (I've never had problems with mine , there's potential human error regarding the connections that he had to crimp on), but he's tried new wires and still gets it.
He said the plugs "glow" at night..
I'm pretty sure mine don't.
I'm thinking he has a major issue, unless I've just never seen plug wires glow...

sounds to me like his wires are having to much juice being pulled through them. That is the only reason that they would "glow" at night. Is it posible to change the charge that goes to the spark plugs?
